A monthly noon potluck lunch was originally started with mostly Union retirees but was expanded to include all factory and office workers.  This group now insludes anyone retired from Rockwell plus spouses.

The group was originally started with mostly Union retirees, expanded to include all factory personnel, then to include office workers, and now includes anyone retired from Rockwell & spouses.

WHAT: A noon potluck
Bring own table service, and a covered dish of choice, coffee is provided, followed by entertainment and a short meeting. (arrivals: 11:30, food served at Noon)

WHEN: The third Tuesday of the month.
If schools close due to weather, the meeting is also canceled. If the third Tuesday falls the same week as Thanksgiving, the meeting is shifted or perhaps canceled, announced the month prior.

WHERE: Kenwood United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, 175 34th Street NE
If there is a funeral service at the church, ROK meeting cancelled, members called to notify.

COST: $8.00 per year.
The group is subsidized by ROK - used to cover speaker fees, any costs for supplies, location, etc.

Activities include: Musical groups, speakers, bingo (especially in winter months in case meetings cancelled) area recreational activities, information by Aging Services and similar service organizations.
AND - food, food, food.
